Hallo, I’m Davia

My love for baking began with my Omas recipe book.

After moving to America, I missed German breads and desserts, which inspired me to start my micro bakery. As I shared my treats, people often asked, "Can you teach classes?"

This was the start of merging my micro bakery with a blog to share recipes and bring German baking to your home.

I am so grateful that you are here at my German food blog and micro bakery named Raven Cakes Bakery.

Where did it all begin?

Best Part about Baking?

At the farmers market, customers shared their love for my desserts not only for their flavor but also for the memories of their Oma/Mama and time in Germany. After being asked about teaching classes, I found the idea of using my platform to help YOU learn German baked goods exciting and fulfilling.

Let’s celebrate our connections and create new memories together with delicious desserts. Thank you for allowing me to share my passion through baking!

Why the name “Raven Cakes Bakery”?

Throughout my life, I've seen God's goodness in my life and my family’s. When naming my bakery, my husband suggested "Raven Cakes" as ravens symbolize God's provision in the Bible. This resonated deeply with me.

It reflects how God has blessed us and our mission to help others. Last year, I donated a portion of my baking income to friends in the Middle East affected by war and supported various local causes in Trenton.
